Managing Director and Lead Project Manager

Jason Bresnehan, 37, founded Imagination Corp in 1993. Jason performs, planning, specification development, project management, content development and training roles within Imagination Corp.

Jason is also the Managing Director of the consulting practice, Bresnehan Ventures, a boutique advisory firm that provides advice to and invests in early stage business ventures. In this role Jason is currently advising an investor with regards to innovative industrial polymer products. He spent 6 months to February 2007 as the contract CEO for an enterprise search company, Funnelback.

Between 1997 and May 2004 Jason was a contract investment manager with Melbourne based early stage technology venture capital company, Momentum Ventures Ltd, where he performed the full cycle of venture capital investing as well took on a contract CEO role for one of Momentum's investees, Biovend. Biovend was globally commercialising a robotic point of sale and inventory management and wireless procurement solutions for the life sciences, health and aerospace sectors.

Prior to 1997 Jason co-founded Noble House Tasmania, a boutique investment bank, with the late Peter Purtell, a firm which undertook corporate advisory and capital raising mandates for national and South East Asian based clients.

Between 1998 and 1993 Jason worked as accountant for local Tasmanian firm Garrotts or KPMG whilst studying for his Bachelor of Business which he completed in 1993 at the University of Tasmania.
