Port Arthur Model T Template with CMSConceptualisation, Specification and Project Management
Web based CMS

Imagination Corp identified the need for a rapid implementation website with a highly intuitive, fast and easy to use CMS.  The concept would enable a website to be implemented with minimal graphic design requirements and with low cost and fast content population. It would enable the deployment of content faster than the open source CMSs like Joomla and Wordpress.   The concept was not to offer a myriad of visual page style templates that cause "choice paralysis" and stops users getting on with the business of developing great content and launching the website.  Yet the design should enable clients to tweak the page style so where 100 clients use the template the fonts, colours, sizing and banner images would be sufficiently differently so that the websites do not long the same.

The result of this concept is the Model T template.  One fo the first clients to use this Keep it Simple & Straightforward (KISS), rapid deployment CMS was Australia's world heritage listed tourism site, Port Arthur, who developed a Port Arthur Accommodation portal as parts of its web marketing strategy.  Imagination Corp designed the Model T template and rapidly designed and populated the content.

Lumina Web Bssed Events CalendarContent Management and Technical Issue Reporting
Web Based Events Calendar

For seven years Imagination Corp has collated, developed and published  content for Tourism Tasmania's web based events calendars.  This has included the now de-commissioned Tasmanian Events Calendar, the DiscoverTasmania Events Calendar and the winter based Lumina Calendar.  The adage "content is king" was coined for a reason, because without good content design and good content consumer based web systems are empty vessels.  Moreover, understanding how users search for, find and move through a consumer site critical.

With seven years under our belt collating, developing and watching consumer users interact with content, Imagination Corp has a highly developed knowledge of web based consumer content systems.

Web Based Industry Benchmarking System
Between 2005 and 2007 Imagination Corp designed, developed and refined on a financial year by financial year basis a grower benchmarking system for the Australian pork industry.  The database based web project was commissioned by Canberra based Australian Pork Limited and featured the development of an innovative Microsoft Excel remote/offline data collection system.   Pork growers from around the country would prepare their annual grow-out and financial data in a non-time pressured offline environment using the Excel data collection workbook.   The Excel workbook was then uploaded and the data parsed into the database of the web based benchmarking system where it was used to produce a myriad of web based reports using an intuitive database search system.
